Board of Directors Meeting

 

Roll Call:  President John Nomie, Vice President Julie Hollister, Secretary Angie Hughes

 
Attending Jurisdictions:  Debbie Knox City of Oregon City,Bonnie Deets Clackamas County, Bonnie Lanz City of Milwaukie, Jane Ellsworth Phifer Consulting, Michele Faber City of Newberg.

2)  Minutes from August 5, 2009: Bonnie Lanz made a motion to approve the minutes as written. Michele Faber seconded the motion and it was approved unanimously.

3)  Fall Conference – The Conference has been changed to a one day seminar on October 29, 2009 at West Linn City Hall Council Chambers. The topic for the Seminar will be “Green Building” with speakers from Metro, State of Oregon and City of Portland. The cost was determined by the board to be thirty dollars for members and forty dollars for non members. This cost will cover the meals and breaks for the seminar which will be catered. Also the General Membership meeting will be held during the lunch.

4)  Newsletter – The Board of Directors commended Michele Faber for the newsletter that was just sent out to the membership. It was very well put together and we have already received comments from members saying what a great newsletter it was.

 
The dates for the next Board of Directors meetings were set as follows: January 20, 2010 at Milwaukie City Hall, April 21, 2010 at Lake Oswego City Hall, July 21, 2010 Boardman City Hall (tentative spot) and September 15, 2010 Oregon City; City Hall and the time for them will be 12:30-2:30 p.m.

 
 

5)  Web Page - The board really encouraged President Nomie to get with the web guy and                            

get our site up and running, we all felt as though it makes us look bad to put in the newsletter that we have a website and then when they go there nothing is up to date. President Nomie said he would get in contact as soon as the meeting was over.

6)  Adjourn – Meeting was adjourned at 1:57 p.m.
